Richard LI, as the Chief Legal Officer of I-Mab, is fully responsible for the group's legal affairs, covering capital market, intellectual property, clinical operations, corporate transactions and US operations, and provides important legal guidance and strategic solutions for the company's business growth.

Richard LI is a senior life science lawyer with more than 14 years of practice experience. Prior to joining I-Mab, he worked at Covington & Burling LLP, a top law firm in the United States, as a senior advisor and led the China Life Sciences Transactions Group. He also served as the legal director of the well-known life science venture capital funds Tong and Yucheng Capital. Earlier in his career, he practiced corporate law at internationally renowned law firm Hogan Lovells. He holds a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in international law from Sun Yat-sen University , and a master's degree in law from Columbia Law School.
